This is one of those projects I've thought about forever and thought it'd be fun to have an Art Attack. This isn't necessarily a patriotic thing, but more of a "Hey, coming from a graphic design standpoint, it sure is fucking cluttered and could use a redesign."

Mission: Create a new flag for America. You can change it as little as changing the colors, or be clever and make a statement politically about capitalism or America, or show your support for Puerto Rico becoming the 51st state and add in another star. You may make as many designs as you'd like, but if you do, please post them in the same deviation.

Before you complain and get all AMERICA is the BEST and THE FLAG is GREAT and how DARE you! The flag that is currently in use just became the longest used flag with 48 years in use, from 1960. We've changed the flag every time we gained another state, or changed our minds.

Medium: Any! Paint, sew, Photoshop, paper mache, tshirt. The more creative, the better!

Deadline: July 4th, of course. One month.
